We took our in-laws to this restaurant. That was one of the best experiences. I love to cook and I am very picky about my food. I do not eat at chain restaurants because all food is the same. I like to be surprised. That was the best. I ordered pan fried razor clams and my husband and his mother ordered stuffed pork tenderloin. That was delicious. I am thinking about going there on my birthday next month. We live in Portland and it is quite a drive but well worth it.
Unusual and delicious food: This is a great restaurant with a seriously creative chef. For example, tonight I had sauteed calimari, beet salad, trout, and a chocolate dessert that tasted like the best raspberry creme chocolate (but 3" in diameter) that I have ever had. Even basics like rice and zucchini were so superb that I ate all of them. The portions are smaller and the prices are a little high, but the food is so unusual and delicious that I didn't mind at all.
One of the Best: This is one of the best restaurants we've eaten in anywhere. It's so surprising to find it in such a small town!
