I ate here years ago. Great little place to grab a burger. Its a favorite place for locals, and they do have really good shakes.
Good Burgers and Fries: This joint located across the border is not bad. It's spacious and all white, like in the old days. Workers even don those burger joint hats and hair nets from the 60's. The burgers are good. You can taste the manufactured bread; it's good, but lacks character. You will never be disappointed with this burger with cheese. The green chili lacks heat despite Blake's being a New Mexican establishment, with access to the world's best green chili.
The fries are good. They are like half-way between Texas fries and typical fries in thickness. They are crunchy with a soft inside and goldern brown. Sometimes, it is too salty. But, it taste good.
They serve freshed brew ice tea and it usually pretty good. Other times, it is watered down. It lacks consistency.
Milkshakes are thick; too thick to slurp up. You need a strong spoon.
It is located near a gas station and there is alot of traffic heading out of town. As such, it seems very lively. There is no artwork on walls. The place is usually clean. Restrooms are okay.
