    Very good place down in Avon, NC. Mack Daddy's was a nice find for us after eating at some so-so places. The menu is good, the atmosphere decent, and very nice staff. The dishes we ordered (flounder, shrimp, salad, etc) were all very good and seemed to be freshly prepared. Our waitress was particularly helpful and hard working. We would not hesitate to eat there the next time we visit OBX.

    This Place is one of the best seafood, steak houses i've ever been too! My girl and i get their at 5:17pm.they open at 5 pm. and no one was thier at that time so we were seated quickly. our severer was quick, friendly and she was on point! now to the best part the food!! My girl got the sacllops they were cooked so perfect its hard to explain. the sides that came with her dish were just as good also the buttermilk mashed taters and greenbeans. i got the shrimp and grits and let me tell you this was the best plate of food i have ever had! and i say this whole heartedly it was GREAT! thank you mack daddy's for great food great service and a great time down in avon!

    Great meal !! Had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Hostess was very polite and courteous. Sat at the bar , kids had fruit punch, adults had a great microbrew that was similar to Guinness. Started off with a small plate, oysters rockefeller, outstanding!. Bread came out fresh and warm. Two adults had the fried seafood combo(oysters, scallops, shrimp), cole slaw, and amazing thin fries. kids had burgers and chicken fingers, devoured the food and the plate. Waitress was 10 out of 10. Attentive, friendly, prompt! I highly recommend Mack Daddy's.
