About:Los Potrillos is an authentic Mexican restaurant in Santa Fe that has won Best of Santa Fe Award 2007. The decor has a lot of ranch stuff lying around like wooden tables, chairs, hand carved sculptures, murals, cacti and curtains that add to make the 'western' atmosphere authentic and complete. The menu boasts of chips and salsa, steaks, and seafood. Try the shrimp cocktail and rellenos. The pechunga en salsa, which is chicken breasts covered in pineapple sauce, or cabrito made of goat meat marinated and sauteed in peanut and almond sauce and served with charros, beans and fresh guacamole, or pork and pineapple grilled with onions and served with hot molcajete are all delectable. The culinary skills of the chefs at Los Potrillos keep guests happy indeed!

    Everything was wonderful, including the 3 salsas, the chicken fajitas (one order would have been plenty for the two of us) and the price.

    Looking forward to going back when in SF again.

    Always a treat!: This place is fantastic. Great food and excellent service. Viva Mexico! Not your typical Northern New Mexican dishes, but excellent Mexican food!
