User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI used to work here for almost two years. While maybe that makes my review biased, who cares. The food is a bit pricey, but compared to the Carson Valley Inn's Fiona's, you don't have to deal with cigarette smoke which is always a bonus! The chef is wonderful and from Switzerland..he is willing to accommodate to your needs if you have a food allergy or wanna mix it up a bit. It is a clean, relaxed atmosphere. The bar and lounge upstairs has a great, private ambiance. There are flat screen t.v.'s at both the upstairs bar and down stairs bar. Oh and of course the bathrooms are suuuuper clean because after all it is one of the only upscale restaurants in town. I would recommend this place for new years, valentines day, mothers day, or any other special occasion. Or if mom and dad want to have a nice dinner away from the kids. During the summer there are little patio tables and chairs out front if you want to just go and have some appetizers and cocktails and enjoy the sunset. It is off the road from the hustle and bustle of 395 which also adds to the relaxed, small town feeling it has. The food is yummy! I love the filet mignon and the caesar salad..oh and the deserts are great too! I would recommend the espresso chip ice cream, the homemade oatmeal pie a la mode, or the milkyway mousse cake. Or the lemon cake..haha theyre just all soo yummy!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent food (we had lamb chops, salad nicoise, salmon caesar); super murals and decor (we loved Porky's alcove); one server was a bit rough on the edges, but others were excellent; prices reasonable. Better than any I've tried in Reno or environs.

This place is fantastic. The food is wonderful! The dishes are uniquely flavored and beautiful. The service is great too. Dinner is a bit pricey but well worth it. We had a filet trio. Each filet had a different sauce. It was delicious. Lunch is reasonably priced and their French fries are a must! You definitely need to try this place! I consider it the best restaurant in Minden!
