    I was looking for a quaint, quiet place to have breakfast or brunch on a trip from the foothills of S.C. to a foot trail just north of Bakersville, N.C. and I found exactly that in this little coffee shop. The atmosphere was fantastic. We ate our delicious breakfast on a covered deck in the back of the building. There are also tables inside and a little outdoor garden spot in the front with a few tables.
    This was really an enjoyable break on the way to where we were going. We plan on returning and exploring this great small town again someday.
