User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDO NOT BUY TICKETS ONLINE!!!!!!! I've tried to contact the manager,the supervisor and everything. I can get no help from anyone. I bought tickets to an event 2 weeks prior to the date. I go tomorrow and my tickets still havent' arrived by mail! I've been calling for 3 days now and it's crazy. They transfer me and hang up on me and won't reprint the tickets until the day of the show. Not only that but they won't even send me an e-mail confermation saying they put them on ''Will-Call''. I've tried talking to supervisors...they won't talk to me...I've tried to talk the the manager of the place...nothing....I even called the ticketing company that they work through....they have in their system that they sent the tickets to them for will call in the first place! So either A Somebody is lying or B someone lost those tickets. I will never ever go through these people again. Which also means never having to visit the venue which is fine with me.

The Colonial center is a beautiful venue. The only problems we have with the Colonial Center is the stairs are not lighted during a concert. On April 11, 2008 We were at a concert and a lady fell because she could not see the stairs. She was badly injured. When the General Manager was contacted by e-mail in reference about her injury the GM never returned my e-mail. It has been a week and a 1/2 and no one has contacted us concerning her injuries.

Excellent Venue for a city this size: Great location in downtown Columbia. I'm surprised how many big names and events come through here. The facility is large and clean, but parking is difficult. That should change with the opening of a brand new garage sometime in 2007. Keep an eye on their website, you never know what's coming into town. But, don't ever see the Monster Trucks! The arena is too small!
