I've been in many Mexican Restos in US. Of course I've been from High Profile Mexican eating places as well. Veracruz is not the #1 choice for me compared to where I've been. But when i moved here in Bruce, I would say this is the most fancy place you can go to and dine. This review is for what i had experience in the restaurant and will not compare to Maria Maria La Cantina in Arizona of course.

Over all, for a small town with nowhere to eat, I am so thankful that Veracruz is here in Bruce. . . And they are friendly as can be and that is the most wonderful thing i enjoy visiting that place. Jaime and his wife are so nice to entertain customers by sharing their experiences in travel.

This is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in this area that I have been to. The atmosphere is cozy (I'd stip the walls of the ancient wall paper tho), staff, cooks and owners are really friendly and take special food orders (a plus in my book). I agree with chrmed14lifes comment; the food that's offered around here sucks and gets old really fast. So if you like Mexican food I absolutely think you should check out Veracruz for lunch or/and supper! YUMMY!!!
