Not really a big fan. I'm not even that picky on my food but this place just wasn't that good. Way more expensive than Chinatown which is obviously expected but $5 for Ha-gow (3 shrimp dumplings) is crazy expensive compared to Chinatown's $1.50. Not to mention the quality wasn't there either. There are better places in NJ...China Chef in Secaucus and this place I forget the name of on Rt 46W in Parsippany. Much better quality and cheaper. FYI I'm Asian...I tried this place after I learned the owner is the cousin owner of the recently closed down Japasia restaurant in Saddle Brook that will be sorely missed.
I always go to Chinatown, NY for Dim Sums, and have been going to Silverpond in Fort Lee (which was not very good)if we didnt feel like driving all the way to NY. When Silverpond burnt down my friends have been searching for a dim sum place in NJ and found this place, I was pretty skeptical but just had saterday lunch there and it was pretty good, as good as China Town. They have the most plumb shrimp dumplings I have ever seen, but too bad they dont have fried noodles though.
