The food was divine! The service was great. Make sure to leave room for dessert.
My husband was stationed in Germany for a few years, and when he got back he was searching for authentic German cuisine. One day we decided to try Erika's and he's absolutely hooked!! This is one of his favorite restaurants in town now. Even though I'm not crazy about German food myself, I LOVE the Schnitzel. It's fantastic, and the portions of meat are huge! There is one with a mushroom sauce (Jager art), and I do NOT like mushroom, but it really does not taste like mushrooms, it's really more like brown gravy. The Zigeuner Schnitzel with red sauce is excellent also.
Plus, as others have mentioned, Erika is probably the friendliest and most attentive hostess I've ever met, even when the place is packed!
Definitely recommend Erika's Kitchen!
The food and service is great just like the other previews said and then I found out Erika, her waitress and I come from the same corner of the world,...just 10 miles apart. I felt like being home again.
