Mike and the crew there at Gorman's are the best. All I can do is underscore what the previous people have said. Absolutely straight-shooting, do what you need to keep the car on the road, and if there's a less-expensive way to get you back on the road without compromising your safety, they'll do it. They deserve your business and your referrals to your friends.

I am a do-it-yourself type, and my car is no different. I handle 90% of my mechanical work. Mike Gorman handles the other 10% with ease and care (I only bring him the jobs I can't handle myself because I either don't have the tools or the skills), but he is ALWAYS available when I am into a complex job and need advice. And when I need advice, and he gives me a "gut feeling" about what is wrong--even over the phone--he is always right. Mike has saved me thousands of dollars in diagnosis fees on my old cars with his freely given advice. I know he does the same for his colleagues in the biz. Mike is a go-to guy, a great mechanic and a great human being.
