Hey Rick, just so that you know......ANY restraunt is going to charge a corckage fee for a bottle of wine (regardless if you bought it there earlier). They did sell that bottle to you at RETAIL value, which is discounted because you will enjoying it at HOME. Too bad you don't know proper etiquette for service and tipping. After all, the establishment IS providing the glasses, napkins, and service for you to enjoy that wine. Pour at Four and the owners and staff are hard to top when it comes to good service and knowledge. Shame on you for posting a neative review. Thanks to Pour at Four for always creating a great environment to enjoy good wine, food, and conversation. :)
the experiance at your restraunt was not good, being charged a corking fee for a bottle of wine that was purchased their at a wine tasting two weeks ago that were not avilable to pick up that night, turned into a charge of $ 15.00 the night we came in to pick them up and have a bit to eat. if you purchase a bottle of wine at a restraunt there should never be a corking fee! whats up with that? the owner did reduce the corking fee to 7.50 after a very unplesant experiance of asking him about it. overall it was not fun.Rick
A delightful place!: I was so excited to find this place! Pour at Four has a nice wine selection, great food, and super-friendly service. They're open till 11 even on weekdays, which is perfect if you eat dinner late or like an upscale late snack.
I love to go with a friend in the late evening and have a glass of wine and one (or two... or three) of their scrumptious appetizers. The menu is tapas style so you can share several dishes and sample a bit of everything, but the portions are a lot more generous than most tapas plates. Everything I've tried has been wonderful. Their cheese selection is amazing, and their crab/shrimp cakes or quesadillas are delish.
