User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI recently started school at GCC and like most students with their 1st taste of freedom, I decided to get a tattoo. I went online to do some due diligence and research my choices here in Batavia. I searched Yahoo local and found Chongo Ink. I saw, for the most part, what seemed like bickering between local rival shops. So I did what any conciencious customer would do, I went to each shop to see for myself what was what. Though I won't divulge which shop I finally have chosen, I will say that I will never get a tattoo at this shop. I would sooner be dragged through excrement and rancid garbage with my mouth wedged open than let any of the "Artists" that work there touch my skin. There was a guy with stars on his face, and a large bald guy. Neither of which did anything close to impressive. Bottom line is: do your research. Ask questions, it's tattoo. It's for life, and I for one will never risk my life by setting foot in this shop again, and I encourage anyone reading this to do the same. Thank you.

well i took the advise of tana and went to check out this tattoo shop and on my visit to there shop i was greeted at the door with a nice hello how can we help you and when i went in the place was beautiful and yes it look liked a doctors office and they showed me the clean room with an autoclave and a dry clave and how they worked they also had portfolios of there work and plus there shop was packed with clients all that where very very happy with the work coming out of the shop.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsi got two tattoos and a piercing at seans tattoo shop i told my mother,regina and her husband bout seans shop its clean and he does awsome tattoos i wouldnt go nowhere else.whoever talks bout tattoos around me i will tell them to go to in the flash tattoo due to the fact sean knows what he is doing out of everybody in batavia when i got my tattoos there i felt like home and so did my family who i took there my sister in law got a piercing there and he did a awsome job i love seans shop i will never go anywhere else thats my word....

It is so cool that you said they have a dry clave two mins worth of research will tell you that a dry clave has not been accepted for use in the tattoo industry for many reasons the biggest being that you cannot properly sterilize a hollow tube instrument [a tattoo tube] with it and only certain kinds of autoclaves that are very expensive can do it correctly and its so great that you were shown the room were you shown that the machines even work did the equipment come out of the machine after twenty mins [the amount of time at 270 degrees it takes to properly sanitize the equipment] if not go get tested unless of course this is a wife or girlfriend of some one down there which im sure it is do your research people dont get the wool pulled over your eyes
Tana, that's me, is now at Timebomb Tattoo 345-0001. I have had the privilege and disappointment of working with some of the best and worst in this buisness. Over the past ten years some of my favorite artists have since opened there own shops (Mark Madden @ Madd Graphix, Loren & Chris Crego @ La Vida Loca) or (like Heidi) have moved on to Tattoo Don's Nicklecity Tattoo (the best known shop in Buffalo) LOOK AT PORTFOLIOS IN SHOP (MAKE SURE THE ARTIST YOU WANT IS DOING THE WORK!!!) ASK QUESTIONS; -Do you have an in house sterilizer, ask to see it and have its function explained. -Only a steam and heat autoclave is exceptable, a Dry Clave WILL NOT sterilize the inside of any hollow instrument (ex; piercing needles, tattoo tubes) -Look at the portfolios, ask whose work it is!!! -ASK WHERE THEY TOOK THEIR APPRENTICESHIP AND FOR HOW LONG!!!
