The adobo de puerco is awesome. It is similar to the best adobo I have eaten at las Palomas in Santiago, Nuevo Leon. The atmosphere is dark and pleasant and the menu is varied. I have also tried the Jalapa style beef relleno and it was very good. I am looking forward to trying the mole' and tamales.
Outstanding menu! GREAT service! Eric the bartender...best ever. My wife and I visit here at least once a month and always have the best dining experience. Oh and let's not forget the best margarita's in Dallas! Highly highly highly recommend Veracruz Cafe!
Everyone who has reviewed Veracruz agrees. Best food, best service, best margaritas. I concur.
Now that you know, you're going to find out that Yahoo doesn't have the address right. Which is not Yahoo's fault, it's a Mapquest problem, but it's impossible to get them to change it.
What you do is exit Wintergreen road, not the ones they suggest. Anyway, the Veracruz Cafe is in The Ranch shopping center on the west side of Hwy 67, between the Ramada Inn and the La Quinta. Good shopping, a day spa, and a great steakhouse, with live entertainment.
Maybe now, you'll have better luck finding the place! If you in search of the perfect margarita, you'll want to ask for the frozen one. Don't go with the rocks, don't call the brands, just go with what the machine spits out. Trust me!

P.S. Don't forget to try the Torta Tolteca omlet on Sat/Sun before 3pm.
