We are the only school that features student rock/jazz/blues concerts as well as traditional classical recitals. Students can perform real rock, jazz and blues repertoire on stage at a genuine rock club, backed up by a professional band including instructors and other professional musicians. Please check out clips of our students on our web site. On the traditional classical side, we have students from total beginners up to the Advanced Panel stage of Certificate of Merit. Certificate of Merit is an optional annual exam that over 29,000 students from the state of California participate in each year. Out of 29,000+ students, several hundred are selected to perform at the Music Teachers Association of California State Convention...Each year, over half a dozen of those honors students come from our school.
