I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.My husband and I love Eureka and enjoy mexican food. We normally go to the same place to eat mexican food. But this time we thought we'd try another Mexican restaurant. We walked in and noticed that is was not authentic and the waiter first asked if it was any cooler outside than it was inside.He asked if we would like a drink, we ordered two sodas that came out of a can.It was so hot in the restaurant our sodas were not cold enough.They had no air conditioning.We did not get any complimentary chips and salsa. There was not a good selection.We normally love appetizers.My husband chose the beef nachos and I chose two beef enchiladas with rice and beans.The waiter had mentioned how the cook was one of the best chefs in eureka.So we thought hey ok.It took about 45 minutes to get our food.When it finally arrived, mine looked very tasty,but my husbands nachos looked quite scary,It looked as if they had taken chips and dipped them into grease and added the toppings.And to top it off the meat looked like burnt hamburger meat and full,full of grease he could not find a crunchy chip on his plate.There was about a half an inch of grease in the bottom of his plate.I felt so sorry for him he had eaten maybe 3 chips that he could find that were not full of grease.I had to add my husbands salsa to my enchiladas and add salt.They were also full of grease.It took all I had to eat my beans and took one bite of my rice and notice hard pieces that were not done.Not to mention the spices they had in the meat.I looked over at my husband and he was full of sweat and I had to use my napkin to cool myself off.This was the most horrific experience.Everything was bad.When we left we were wanting to warn others going in.We will never even look over as we drive by anymore.We were both sick all night. We both had stomach aches and were taking TUMS and it ruined the rest of our stay.We give it ZERO stars.
