Unbelievably Disgusting! Champagne French food handler picking his nose & touching everything, spreading infection around -counters, trays, dishes, etc- I saw it myself. He never washed his hands between nose picking, nose blowing, face itching sessions & distributing his germs & viruses everywhere. Chit chatting between nose blowings with his co-worker manager never broke the nose flow - seemed she could care less too. I finally had to ask what kind of sloppy food handling is this? The untrained kid seemed oblivious. So don't expect safe food handling at Champagne French Bakery. I witnessed Champagne's staff's total disregard for the health of others, even after calling it to their attention. For public safety, I must say CUSTOMER BEWARE! I worry, if this is what the staff is OK with in front of us, what bad food handling habits do they enjoy freely behind closed doors? Anyone for some special sauce?
Food tasted good, but it seemed pretty over-priced. This seemed like a place targeted toward women, particularly older women.
I had a sandwich, fries, and a drink. The sandwich with fries was $7.xx, but the bill came up to over $10 because of the drink. The sandwich and fries were good, but not worth the price. I would have expected at least $1 lower.
