Strawberry Smog Test Only

   Strawberry Smog Test intentionally failed the smog check for my car on 11/14/07. The technician, Emilio Lobato, said I should go drive around, and then come back for a retest for $40.00.
   
   On the morning of 11/15/07, my car passed a smog check at another shop.
   
   I reported the incident to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. They have opened an investigation – case # SF2007-017984.

   Thank you for your review. I hate this "protection" that lawmakers have imposed on us. It forces us to go to places with which we do not have relationships. I do not consider this protection.
