Best thing to happen to San Pablo since...Popeye's: There are some rockstar baristas that make a mean cappacino. Food is mediocre and overpriced. Cook Staff is pretty lame. They can work a pannini grill and not much else. It's a place for strong coffee, overpriced but tasty gellato and some good live music. Good for people watching too. Some good beer on tap and wine as well.

Best option for the location: This is the same Caffe Trieste that you'll find in North Beach and is the best option on this part of San Pablo if you are really needing a coffee bad. The lines here are really long and *very* slow, but good music and generally an attractive coffee shop in an otherwise pretty tough stretch of San Pablo. Let's say it's good place to hang out if you are getting your car fixed. Also, the food is good but very expensive. Still, if you want a high end coffee shop experience it's the best option in this part of town.
