Kokyo Teppan-Yaki & Sushi Bar

We had a great dinner at Kokyo! Got right in, food was good and the service was real fast. We had barely closed our menus when food started showing up. Edemomie was good, but the serving was not really big enough to share. Sushi was next, and tasted very fresh but again the portion was small. My yellow tail was so thin it was falling apart on the rice when it came to the table and the cali roll could have been bigger, but it is real crab. The New York strip was great, with rice, veggies and everything else. The chicken gets cooked well done so best to order something else.

I am really splitting hairs because this was the first time we ate at Kokyo and my wife said "it kicked Benhana's butt". In all 4 dinners, 6 drinks and couple of appetizers cost $130 with tip. We will be back again for sure.

kokyo's fillet is the best teppen fillet ever....EVER!!!!

My fiancé and I visit Kokyo frequently; we love the service and the staff. We've gone so often that the chef's know exactly what type of sushi we like and how we like it. I am always extremely pleased with every aspect of our meal. We enjoy the food so much that we commute from North Highlands just to get some! Keep up the awesome service! :-)
