Good sushi, nice non-sushi menu: Yes, it's a mixed marriage we share, my partner and I. He loves sushi; I'm not such a fan. California rolls, ok, Philadelphia rolls I'm fine with. I'm fully aware that neither of these really qualifies as sushi, let alone sashimi, of which he's also a fan.

So, the sushi restaurants that tend to get "our" business -- as opposed to "his" business when he goes for a real sushi experience without me! -- are those that offer more than a nod to the non-sushi enthusiast in their midst.

Tsunami has some nice choices for the non-sushi lover -- I had the teriyaki beef, which was a very nice cut of meat, perfectly cooked, tasting nicely of the charcoal from the hibachi and sauced with an excellent teriyaki.

As for the sushi, he enjoyed it just fine, though he felt the selection was limited.

Tsunami Sushi will sweep you away in satisfaction!: The people who work here are incredibly nice and their sushi is always fresh. They have the best miso soup here too. Try their banana tempura for desert with the chocolate sauce on top... to die for! It's a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The only problem is parking but that just makes me crave it more!

Good sushi to go!: I have never been to Tsunami sushi. I am sure you are wondering 'why is she writing a review then???'. This is *because* my friends always do sushi parties at their place and they get tsunami sushi to go. They call, jump in the car and come back full of delicious surprises!!!:) Their salmon sushi is good (although the pieces are pretty small) and the rolls are quite amazing! Reasonable prices.
