We were driving back from LA to Sacramento on I-5 N. We saw the "Taste of India" sign and thought of having some good/decent Indian food on our way back.
The lady gave the WORST Welcome ever received by a customer in the United States to us. Still we went it without knowing that more is on its way.
The rest room here is undoubtedly the worst for any restaurant that i have been to.
We asked for a medium spiced food and just a taste of it brought tears. Its simply raw spice and definitely not the spicy ones we enjoy. The service was pathetic, please get away from this if you dont want to waste time/money and energy.
Food was great stop there from San Francisco two weeks ago.3
Luring people with a bill board on I-5 is this restaurant's only life line. pathetic food and idiotic service. These restaurants ought to be bought to the serious attention of the health & hygiene department and even the better business bereau.
Regarding the spice level, the restaurant gives a new explanation. we had ordered medium spiced food, which was the hottest food I had ever tasted. when questioned she showed us a fine print in her menu card, that said "mild - 1/10; meduim - 5/10; spicy - 10/10", which universally would mean a figurative speech as to 1 on a 10 point scale or 5 on a 10 point scale. But this dumbo kept arguing that she would 5 red hot chillies or 10 chillies depending on what we had asked.
What a waste of 50 dollars and a couple of hours of our precious time...
