I love this place, cannot go to Pearl Art Supplies or Green Shift Music in this area without getting a sack of cheese Kystals with extra pickles....may be an acquired taste, but cant resist it

This is my Krystal story & very disappointed how we were treated by management on 3/6/09; estimated time was 2:15AM. We ordered a sack of Krystals with cheese, fries & drinks. After leaving the restaurant using the drive thru option we discovered our Krystal's were cold. The cheese was not melted & the bun crust was hard. We went back to the window & the Manager Emily who refused to give us her name in the beginning ~ finally another employee working the window gave us her name. She stated that the burgers just came off the grill & were fresh. I've grown up on Krystal's & knew that the burgers were in fact not fresh. She argued with us & stated she would only give us our money back. She was rude, abrupt & obviously hates her job. Many people are without jobs in our economy & would love the opportunity to take hers. I was applaud by the way we were treated. When she did refund the money she credited someone else's debit/credit card in the beginning. When we stated that we paid cash she demanded the receipt. Now keep in mind that we just left the window possibly 5 minutes earlier. We thought the receipt was in the bag that was given back to the drive thru employee. The bag was searched & Emily refused to give our money back, but we did find the receipt in the floor board of our vehicle. The manager refused to come to the window several times & after the receipt for cash pymt was given to her she almost thru our money in to the vehicle & slammed the window closed. She also threatened to call the Police which we asked her to. We wanted the situation resolved with courtesy. Please let Emily know that careerbuilders.com is hiring & since she's so miserable with her present JOB ~ she should seek other opportunities. We're still as angry as we were on Saturday morning. Her attitude & the way she presented herself as well as Krystal's restaurant was socially unacceptable. This is my Krystal story & feel free to call with questions. Just so we are all clear this was the Krystal's on W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa, Fl.
