I went to a wedding this past wknd in Deerfield and booked a pedicure at Jazu. I had a wonderful experience & felt really relaxed after having my feet rubbed. The tech did a great job and ofcourse the price was outstanding for the service received!
I've been serviced once and have been back 2 more times to buy products. My facial was very good. It was tailored for my skin. The facialist mixed 2 different masks for my combination skin. I've never had that before! It worked great. Could have done more extractions though. I also got a haircut, I was also very happy with it. They have good brands to buy. I love the Pevonia cleanser, and the tinted sunscreen is amazing! Not greasy and covers well while it protects. They could offer more 'spa' things like mimosas and fruit. But other than that, I've been very happy.
great spa services: My experiances were when the salon first opened. I received facials twice. I also purchased a large spa package (they were excellent about tailoring it).
Well my facials were awsome! The best I have ever had. They use pevoina products (or did when I recieved my services) puvonia is an excellent line of products used in many of the top tier of spas in the world (honestly I was surprised that they chose that line) The facial was extensive and they even applied an ampoule that left my skin radiant and showed no signs of just getting a facial. (boyfriend even noticed the glow...) The neck massage during was great.
The deep tissue/hot stone massage I got in the package was great! I have trouble relaxing and the hot stones really got my muscles relaxed and made it easier for the therpist to work on me.
The sugar scrub was good, took a nice shower to rinse it off. It was nice. But wasn't anything beyond that. I wish they would offer a dry exfoliation before a massage or something similar. I feel like that would be a great addtion for them to offer (it would help you get the exoliation is the hard to reach spots without going through the whole 45 minute exfoliation)
The shower was spic and span.
I had my hair blown out and it was exactly how I wanted it done. exactly.
The reason they got 4 stars. Their nail services. I have yet to try some of their new varieties of pedicures but I tried them twice and wasn't impressed either time. The manicure was better, in fact they actually use sugar scrubs and nice lotion for those. I would consider a manicure again. The pedicure just wasn't "spa" quality. The nail polishes were lovely though. If the pedicure was part of a great combo with my facial and my combonation massage I would give it one more shot.
All and all its location hurts it. Its new and clean. Spa staff nice. Nail techs... eehhh. Receptionist very helpful. I plan on returning this summer when I go again for vacation.
