My friend was going for a three month internship in Seattle this summer, so I decided to take him and some other friends out to eat. He likes wine and fine dining, so I thought we'd give this a try after seeing the good reviews. I don't know where these people are used to eating, but this was bad food. I got the pork chop mean, which had one edible item on it...the potatoes and they were pretty good. I will not rank it awful, because the service was great. They do not let your glasses get close to empty and they are constantly coming by and giving you bread or checking on things. Out of 8 people, 3 somewhat enjoyed their meals. And basically together we had every meal on the menu, even the vegetarian one. If you have to try this place, don't try pork chops. That is my favorite food. I am not a great cook, but mine taste much better.
I was a certified chef for 14 years and I found the dining experience here as one of the best I have ever had. The service was extraordinary and the food was better. I have eaten there a couple of times and it gets better every time. Cudos to Chef Morgan!
Wonderful dining experience!: It is no longer necessary to drive out of Cartersville to enjoy a wonderful dining experience. Our first stop in the delightful downstairs bar, complete with a fantastic bartender (delicious martinis), was the beginning of a dining experience equal or superior to any Atlanta has to offer. Make your reservation today.
