A very big dissapointment. Expensive and mediocre food. They should not even say they have a chef. Example: the Duck Dish was $23+ for a half overcooked duck (half carcass) tossed on a plate with some mash potatoes and an awful sauce. The skin was not even crispy. It is scary just to think that they say they have a Chef. You can get a Rotisserie chicken at kroger for 5 bucks that tastes better than their Duck Dish. If you are in for a rip off go ahead and waste your money here. If you want some real food you will not get it from here.
We were very excited to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Sperata and let's just say, that will be the first and last time we dine there. The atmosphere is good and the place is very clean, but unfortunately the food is barely edible. My husband ordered the filet and got a fatty, grisly piece of raw meat. I ordered the tuna steak and received a cold, raw piece of fish. The risotto is hard and barely cooked...it gives a whole new meaning to al dente. If you want to have a nice glass of wine and eat some bread, this is the place for you. If you want an actual meal, you will need to find a restaurant with a real chef in the kitchen.
