We were made aware of this site by a good customer and throught that we should look at a negative comment that she saw on the reviews. We would like to answer to the comment about chemically treated steaks.....let us assure you that we are buying the same high quality meat we have had on our menu since we opened on November 1, 2004. All of our steaks come from The Stockyards in Chicago. (Restaurants like Mortons, Gene and Georgetti's, etc. order from the same supplier). We value our reputation and wanted to make this clear to any others who might read that review. We welcome all comments as well as suggestions. We are very sorry to hear that someone had a bad experience and would welcome the opportunity to speak to anyone who would like to comment. Thank you!

I have tons of family near Morris and we eat here everytime I'm in town. The food is lovely, even if I always end up ordering jumbo scallops. The servers can recommend delicious wine pairings with your food. But if you don't like wine, they make espresso drinks too, I believe. And feel free to order premium cocktails too! They even had TY KU when I was there! Chapin's is a family favorite that I hope everyone would like to add to their favorites.

It takes a real bad experience for me not to return to a restaurant. This restaurant made that list. Had cornish hen, wife had steak. Food average at best. For the price range of this establishment food would rate poor. However, this is NOT what would keep me out of this establishment in the future, the service is what will do that. Poorest service I have experienced in many years. Do not waste your time or money here.
