   I have been riding at S and H Stables for about 2 years now, 3 years in January 2009. My experience has been fairly good. The instructors are EXCELLENT, and none of my previous barns had the atmosphere that S and H does. Most of the horses are very green, so it is a little harder for someone who is just beginning. The price of board, lease, and half lease and pretty much outrageous, but they are worth it when you consider the trainers. The owners host very good shows which are just schooling shows, and the judges are always very fair. Overall, if you are an experienced rider looking for a barn with LOTS of other teenagers and kids, and you have a lot of money, come to S and H.

   Not only are they bad horse boarders, they are terrible business people. They stiffed me on a mere $80 and never have paid it. Bums.

   The most crooked horse "business" in Indiana. If you like your horse to lose 300lbs in a matter of months due to lack of food, and a stall that is cleaned about every 3 days with water being refilled in the same "timely" fashion then call S&H Stables. Otherwise be a responsible horse owner/lover and go to a respectable stable.
