Bought a $1600 Sealy Springfree Queen mattress from here. Was told we would have to buy the extra $50 cover for the 10 year warranty. After a couple of months, mattress started to break down. My wife is not very big and you could see exactly where she laid. Not only looked bad, but really started to hurt both of our backs. Went to store, they said to take pictures and they'd handle the warranty. Basically came down to it had to be at least 1.5" to be eligible for warranty.
Instructions for measuring were confusing, so I brought the mattress back to the store so they could measure it. The same DB that I dealt with on several occasions during this struggle that always wears a bluetooth was the only one there. I asked him to measure it, he said "on no we can't do that". He told me to call the customer service number on the back of his card. I said "that's your customer service, call a phone number while you're right here?" He said he would try to get 'his crew' out to my house sometime to measure it for $35. Keep in mind, the mattress was in the parking lot in the bed of my truck and he could have sent 'his crew' ten feet out the door to measure it. The guy went on to say they were "not just some retail store who can handle a mattress" as I glared around the retail store with at least 30 mattresses that I assume 'his crew' had to handle to get in the store?
The mattress breakdown is not this stores fault, but the horrible customer service is. Save yourself a lot of time and money, cross the parking lot and buy one from Sam's Club.
Mattress salesmen generally rate just below used car salesmen, this place is more proof of that.
