I lived in Campus Apartments for 10 months. I was delayed moving in for two weeks because the roof was leaking into my apartment. Other rooms also suffered floods. The building has not been properly maintained, and is in very poor condition. The apartment flooded again over winter break, and they didn't bother to notify me and left my stuff in water. Many of my personal items were damaged or ruined. None of my problems were ever satisfactorily addressed. Water leaked in twice more, leading to a serious mold problem. The walls and ceiling of the bathroom were mushy and rotting when I left, and it was too humid to breath at times. During the winter, it's impossible to keep the apartment warm. Despite its small size, winter electric bills were in excess of $130 a month, and I was constantly freezing. Before my lease was up, they moved someone else in without notifying me. The balconies are dangerous and could collapse at any time. Don't let Hornet Residential take advantage of you.

The building is a little old but they has been an obvious improvement in way the complex is being handled. Maintenance request are being addressed in a timely manner, instead of never being address. Management is, for the most part, accessible and on site. The building is older so heating bills are a little higher, but mine was never above 80 dollars or so in the winter. I like the color of the apartment walls too.

the place looked pretty nice (for an old complex) and was ok till winter hit, place is impossible to keep warm and the ice forced open some cracks in the roof, now it rains inside my place and my roomie (a computer fanatic) is having hysterics, oh and somebody put in a new party bar on the other side of the block so there are a heap of drunks and druggies wandering through the area at night
