I didn't think that Parsons had a good restaurant. We asked at a convenience store and were told to try this place. So for lunch we stopped in. The place was busy. I had a burrito for $5 and the wife carnitas and green chile, which I think was $7. The food was very good and the service was great. There were several servers so everyone received fast service, in spite of it being shortly after noon.
When I am in the area, I will return!
Holey Friggin Moley, this place is AMAZINGLY GOOD.
Ok, I'm a food snob and got that way fair and square from living in the SF Bay Area. Plenty of all kinds of cultural foods, including mexican. That taken into consideration....first thing I see when I walk in...NEGRO MODELO in the beer cooler. Maybe a fluke...I order enchiladas...and other than the tortilla being a bit rigid, they were GREAT! I need to check out this other place evidently, but this place helps make Parsons, KS feel like home.
Cheers,
I am not so sure about authentic food since things like there chili relenos are made of bell peppers and not releno peppers.
However the food is reasonably priced you get exceptional service and your food arrives hot and quick. It is so quick it usually out dose the fast food restaurants in Parsons.
So if you are in town in a hurry and want good portions of food along with fast service and a place that has very little trouble if any night or day you can take your family and enjoy an evening out.
Great food, Fast and friendly service, Plenty to eat, and no long waits.
