Es schmeckt mir gut!: Quaint, cozy, and just the right amount of gravy and mushrooms on my Jager Schnitzel. The menu's in German with English translations, so you get the charm of ordering in the native language OR actually understanding what it is you're buying. Great food, good price, and don't forget to order dessert...

    Type: German cafe

Menu: Plate lunches. Order from lunch menu w/separate menu for dinner.

Food quality: Probably prepared fresh that morning, heated or kept chilled to serve throughout the day.

Serving size: Good. Two big scoops of potato salad!

Sweet tea: Just a tad weak, but plenty of sweetness.

Environment: German and Austrian scenery and knick-knacks on the walls, polka music playing in the background, and a cluster of ladies nattering on in German. How much more authentic can you get?

Smoking: None inside, but permitted on the patio outside.

    Price: Good (less than $10)

    Credit/Debit: Yes.
