User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI try to eat at Dairy Barn at least once a week. As a local burger joint, you would expect hot, fresh burgers. However, Dairy Barn goes way, way above the call of duty. There burgers are by far the best I have ever tasted, better than In'N'Out (from So. California), better than any sit-down restaurant, and better than any fast food place. It's hard to say why they are better... all fresh ingredients, fresh ground beef, cooked to order... like home made, but far superior than anything I ever grilled up.
My recommendation: a "Pierre Special with no mustard". That's a double cheeseburger on Texas Toast (the bun is fried in butter like a grilled cheese). Heaven on a bun.-

Recently on disaster relief mission for Hurricane Ike and located in Sulpher. A "vegetarian" recommended DB for a place to get a burger. Wow! This place was a great place for excellent food -not just burgers. The malts and shakes are great. Several of us ate about every other day when we could make it and always enjoyed it. The quality of food and the pleasant service was worth the short wait for our order to be delivered. Wish I had such a place nearby in Calif. If I'm ever in Sulpher again -hopefully NOT for hurricane relief - I'll sure stop here and enjoy.

I recently visted the DAIRY BARN in my trip around SULPHUR, and had the pleasure of having a DB burger.And i must say they are great,little small but great taste.I really didn't care for the onion rings a little to much grease for me.I would advise to call in your order because this place stays packed!Always a sure sign of good food.Your local critic gives it 4 stars,good food,slow service and to packed for me.
