Portas Da Cidade

I was very pleased with Portas Da Cidad. I made reservations at the last minute (2-hours) for 11 people, the person who took the reservation was very pleasent and Accommodating . When we arrived we had two additioinal people for a total of 13. This was not a problem we waited only 10 minutes to be seated and they were happy that we had more people with us. The place was jam packed when we arrived, they had a Christening and two birthday parties going on, plus my party of 13. The wait staff did not skip a beat Bread, Water, olives had been brought out right away. Everything was great, I got a salad, Caldo Verde soup and the Bife a Casa. The steak was cooked to perfection and the soup was the best I have had. The waiter was always ready with water, bread, wine or what ever else we needed he had a very pleasent personality and a great sense of humor. A fantastic experience at the Portas Da Cidad, if you love Portuguese cuisine as I do, I recommend the Portas Da Cidade restaurant, plenty of parking
