I recently switched to McKay's because the Food Lion didn't have grapes for 3 weeks and one afternoon I went in & Food Lion had no carrots, no grapes & no bananas. I find the produce section at McKay's to be exceptional, as well as their meat & fresh bread. Their shelves are always stocked & the employees are very friendly.

Mckay's may taste good, but it's all artificial. Fake flavors, fake butter, and most of the items sit on the shelf for days before they are purchased. They bars taste like they have been frozen and the frostings sit at room temperature for weeks at a time. The pie fillings taste like they come from a jar and the cakes are mediocre at best.

I don't buy local papers and I know several others who don't buy them as well. So an online circular would be a good incentive to shop at McKays. I would shop there more often if they would email their circulars every week like Food Lion & Giant.
