About:Bud's at Silver Run is a casual elegant restaurant located just north of Westminster, MD and south of Gettysburg, PA. Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location. We have searched for the right restaurant and are happy that we have found it in Silver Run. Ken brings more than thirty years of varied restaurant experience with him to Bud's. From learning under Karl Beckley at the Greenlake Grill in Seattle to Food & Beverage Director of the Virgin Grand in the Virgin Islands, Ken is excited to return to Maryland. Our goal is to enhance and enrich your dining by offering a quality restaurant experience. We hope to meet and exceed your expectations in each of your visits. Whether you live in the area or if you are just passing through we look forward to making Bud's your place!

    I was in Hanover, PA for a business meeting and we had dinner at Bud's. All I can say is "wow". I will be talking about this meal for a long time to come. If you go try the Rock fish in a vanilla vodka sauce. It doesn't get better than this.

    Silver where? Silver Run! It's less than 15 minutes from Westminster and well worth the drive if Bud's at Silver Run is your destination spot. I've taken clients there for lunch, met girlfriends after work for dinner and taken Mom there for her birthday. The food is consistently fresh, the staff always friendly and Brooke and Ken are very gracious hosts. Attention fellow vegetarians -- great menu selections for us too and the veggies are fresh from the garden!

    For those that are sitting there thinking about trying Buds at Silver Run,,stop reading, get in the car and go. It's worth the trip out to Silver Run. The place is beautiul, great care has been taken with the decorating. It's not a large informal place, its small and cozy. The food, it is fabulous. I highly recommend the crab crostini, the prime rib is tender, the chicken was so moist. You get plenty to eat, they do not skimp on the amount of food or the freshness of the ingredients. The desserts are just the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The people are very friendly and professional, no small detail is overlooked and nothing is too much trouble to make your dinner a great experience. Please try Buds at Silver Run, you will not be disapointed.
