User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely the best Chinese/Asian restaurant I have ever been to. The Kung Pao Chicken is outstanding, and you can specify 1-10 how spicy you like it. Chicken Fried Rice is also the best around. Both dishes are great because the cuts of chicken are of the highest quality. Better than anything else I have had in or out of Kalamazoo. Too bad they aren't closer to Kalamazoo!!

My mouth started watering when I began to think about how to describe Chinn Chinn. We have been regulars since they opened in Mattawan, and were regulars of Peeking Palace in the years before Chinn Chinn. The food is top quality; my favorite is the Mandarin Fish which has a sauce that is spicy and addictive! I have never had anyone indicate that were unhappy with the food or presentation. The owner and family are very pleasant and go out of the way to make you feel welcomed. The only downside is the size of the restaurant and the wait to get seated, but Chinn Chinn is well worth the wait.

I have looked all over the bay area for a asian fusion resturant like Chinn Chinn and cannot find one that compares in taste and quality. Every time I go to Michigan I make the pilgrimage to Mattawan for John's tasty dishes and desserts. This family owned resturant is amazing. I recommend the curry (or anything on the special's board) and if its available, the napoleon for dessert.
