I have rental equipment from this company a few times. We rented a ditch witch and stomp grinder. The ditch witch broke at a weld and the stomp grinder was so dull it would not work. We rented a skid steer twice. The first time it was good, no problems. The next time we rented it, they brought it out with a low tire. It was sat. and we couldn't get a hold of anyone at the store, so we had to pay to have the tire fixed. We did not get re-imbersed our money. Then we rented backhoe's twice. The first time one of the hydraulic lines broke. With that one they did agree they owned me some hours on it (I could only use it during the week). Then this last weekend we rented another backhoe and a fitting had rubbed a hole in a hydraulic line. We needed work done over the weekend and had to pay to get the line repaired (could not get a hold of anyone again). They brought the backhoe to us without totally filling up the gas tank. We had paid to use this backhoe and then had to pay to fix it so we could use it. We did not fill the tank back to full because it was not full when we received it, we did not get to use it most of sat. and had paid to have the hydraulic line fixed. They refused to work with us and make this good. They said since I paid $80 for the repair and they were charging me $75 to fill the gasoline tank that we were even. I felt as if they do not care about their customers. All they care about is getting paid. Needless to say, I will not use this company again. Nor will I recommend them to anyone.

On Wednesday, 11/21/07, we rented a man lift from Dallas County Rental & Sales. We were advised by the counter person that this man lift would work for our project. We arrived at 8:00 AM, picked the man lift up and at 9:15 when we got home ( a 55 mile round trip) we found that it would not work. Also the emergency safety stop would not work. We immediately called and were advised that there would be a 4 hour minimum charge of $100.00, even though we were ill advised and had not used the equipment. We immediately returned to the store with the unused equipment. Asking if we could get all the money back, we were told no, he didn't own the company, just worked there. He charged $98.00 even though the contract says $85.00. Even though we tried to be polite the counter person got very irate and threw a pen across the counter at us. We would never use this company again, and will certainly not give them a good reference.
