    This is the best Mexican food North of the River. The service is terrific and the prices are wonderful!

    Ate here for my birthday last night and I now have a favorite Mexican restaurant "up North". Once you get past the blase storefront in a strip mall entry that is common to most Northland eateries, you might think you were in the Westside--the heart of the Mexican community (and food) in KC.
    We had the chili rellenos and beef fajita burrito and both were excellent. The only disappointment was the chips, which seemed a bit lame, but at least we didn't fill up on chips before we got our meal. The capper was when we got the check... their prices are exceptional. Several entrees are $7.50 or even less, with a full fajita plate for $10! Prices like that will ensure we'll become regulars.
    The decor is genuine, the place is very clean and modern, and the staff extremely efficient, if not effusive.
