About:	The Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum (LJVMC) opened in 1989 and is owned and operated by the city of Winston-Salem. The Coliseum is designed to accommodate all types of events such as the Wake Forrest University basketball games, rodeo, concerts, theater, family shows, conventions, dinners and tennis tournaments. With its large floors for special events and receptions, and its high-tech lighting and sound system, the LJVMC brings in thousands of people daily into the 1500-seat auditorium. The fully renovated Coliseum features a food court with restaurants and concession stands like Domino's, Hero's House and Little Richard's BBQ.
