| About: | Cedar Street Tavern is a nice place to enjoy a quiet dinner with that someone special. At the same time it can be perfect for a family lunch as well. The restaurant allows a distinctive dining experience, as customers can choose to eat at the special booths, lounge around the fireplace or simply watch some great football action on the eight TV screens. The fiber optic ceiling with its shooting stars creates a dreamy ambience and takes you miles away from the mad world outside. |

Poor service ..bad attitudes and cold food. Dont waste your time
We live only three blocks from Cedar Street Tavern and walk by it all the time to much farther destinations like The Pub at Gateway, Presto Grille or Cans. We're the kind of folks who tip well if we get good service. We avoid this place because they usually give us poor service, drinks that under-poured for the price and treat folks like they are just another digit of many passing through their machine. We highly recommend a block or two walk to Hannigans, The Presto Grille, The Pub at Gateway, Cans or the Corner Pub on Graham Street. This review is based on many visits, not just on one experience. This place has proven aloof, unappreciative, abrasive in almost every visit in the past three or four years we have lived three blocks away. Our only regret is our family are slow learners who always give this place another chance only to be disappointed again. We will not make that mistake again. We recommend almost every other bar nearby--but not this one.
Larken: Great neighborhood place to eat, drink, or watch a game!
