My husband and I are owners with Wyndham and decided to take a trip to Vegas for something a little different. We had a 1 bedroom suite, with the full kitchen. It was wonderful. There are a few activities on the resort, the adult pool and hot tubs were awsome!! There is also free video rental and a game room with an XBox 360 and a Wii for the kids so yo can bring your games if you dont want to pack so much on the plane. Our room was very quiet to say we were right next to the elevator. And the strip is walking distance or you can take the free shuttle that starts early until midnight. The gym also offers yoga and massages and the food on the resort was very good and the bar was excellent.

Wyndham vacation Resorts bought a package for my wife and myself to use around Nov 2007 - when we called 2 months in advance they had no rooms. once they did find us a room it wasn't in any of the hotels mentions in the guild they sent us. We found the people that the Wyndham uses to sell there time share packages very offense and disrespectful. From what I understand the Wyndham is a great hotel to stay at we however ended up not using the trip and going thru another timeshare program...

Best Place Ever: I am a timeshare owner (since 2002) at this location and absolutely love it!! I stay at the Grand Desert atleast 5 long weekends a year (my usually stay is for 3 to 4 days), sometimes more, and have had great experiences every time. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and the deluxe rooms are amazing (I love the jacuzzi tubs!) The pools are always clean and there is an "adult only" pool which is good when you don't want kids splashing you or when conversation isn't fit for a 5 year old's ears. Plus, the pools and jacuzzis are open 24 hours, so they don't kick you out or close them down for hours like they do at the hotels. The FULL size kitchens come fully equipped so it's nice not to have to eat out for every meal, which also saves more money to spend at the tables or on a show. Even though there are kitchens, the on-site deli which has sandwiches, salads and more comes in handy as well. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom deluxe is great because it sleeps 8 very comfortably (good for bachelor/bachelorette parties and big birthday bashes) and it's roomy enough that everyone isn't sitting on top of one another. It's only a short distance from the strip so walking to the casinos is not a problem, but there is a van that goes to and from Harrah's every 30 minutes or so. It's more of a home style feel since there is no casino to walk through to get to your room, and the rooms feel like actually condos as they come with all the amenities that would be in your own home (stereos, tvs, dvd players, etc.) This location truly is one of the best places to stay in Vegas and it's hard to stay in just a normal hotel room once you have stayed at a condo at the Grand Desert. I honestly cannot say enough about the Fairfield Grand Desert.
