User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWonderful place to get a rescue: If you are looking for a rescue west wind stables is a great place to look. They have horses that can do just about everything from some that pull carts, to riding, to stablemates. They even normally have a couple ponies. I got my first horse from there. My mom had talked to them for several weeks and they held the horse and then drove her down to surprise me. You will not meet nicer people. They both are very willing to help you and your horse even after you buy it. Their main concern is the well being of the horses. If you are thinking of adpoting please look there. They have too many horses that need saving to stable them all, but they will never turn a horse away. ADOPTING is the best way to get a horse. you get a chance to help the noblest greatest creatures on earth
