User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsUnder new ownership. I was very surprised and pleased. Clean, good food and pleasant atomsphire. My family and I had a very good experience and we will definitely be coming back. The new owners and staff have really made a difference. It has become one of our favorite diners. Try them out! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

As of July 14, 2009 the City Diner is under new ownership. While most of the waitstaff remains the same, the new owners have introduced a completely new menu and dessert menu, installed a salad bar, and bring a clean and friendly atmosphere that might have been lacking before. The diner has experienced an internal facelift that is ongoing--new paint, carpet, chairs, counter, lights and eventually bathrooms, tabletops, and booths. The floor manager is very amiable and concerned with the comments and requests of his customers. The food is fabulous. Highly recommended!
