Amore Restaurant

As of April 2009, Amore no longer exists. A pizzeria opened in its place.

Tonight was my first & last visit to Amore's. We had a foursome & all agreed that it was a very unpleasant experience. The portions were small & the price was large. The food was bland & had an unappealing presentation. However, the most disturbing event was the presence of numerous gnats. We moved from one area of the restaurant to another, thinking that it might be the window section that was invaded with gnats. That was not the case. There were gnats landing in our food & drinks. We reported the condition to two waitresses, who were not perturbed at all,which leads me to believe that it's a commonplace happening. Any reputable restaurant would refer the complaint to a manager. We were not approached regarding the matter. Needless to say, we will not return & will advise family & friends not to do so either.

WONT GO BACK HAD VEAL PARM. SAUCE ON VEAL AND PASTA WAS SWIMMING IN OLIVE OIL WHICH FLOATED TO THE TOP. PLAIN LOUSY AND DINNER CROWDS ARE SHRINKING THERE AS WELL
