We just got back this June 2007 from this resort area. My husband booked a vacation with Myrtle Beach Barefoot Resort and it was wonderful. We had a free shuttle service that took us from our Barefoot Yacht Club villa to the outlet at the landing. We hardly ever moved our car.
Our kids loved the Alabama Theatre and Alligator adventure.
My husband loves the Sunday meal at House of Blues.
There is also a free beach shuttle and great restaurants onsite.
We found a jet ski rental place on the property, but our son is only 8 and we were afraid of the damage he might create, so we missed our opportunity there.
If you go, check out the huge pool that is located right in front of your condos.
I love Barefoot, it's a great place to walk and take kids. The lion exhibit is a lot of fun and enjoyable for kids. There is so much to look at and I always feel completely safe when walking around after dark.
