My finance and I had a very pleasant experience at the David's Bridal in Sugarland. At first, the attendant wanted me to have on the veil and shoes so I could see how it all looked, but I was able to take that off after a while.
Stephanie is the girl that helped me. She was very sweet and fun. She seemed knowledgeable and to enjoy her job. I would definitely recommend asking for Stephanie. She was awesome!
Iâve been to this location several times and finally bought my dress today. i would not recommend this location for your wedding needs. My first experience was wonderful; Stephanie was very helpful and not pushy at all. We actually had fun playing her wedding games. I decided on a dress but then found another I wanted to try. I made another appointment to try the second dress and was very disappointed. If I didnât fall in love with that dress, I would have walked right out. The consultant was VERY pushy after I explained to her that I was on a tight budget. I didnât have the money that day to pay for it so I made another appointment for the next day to come in with my mother in law and her attitude immediately changed. The next day I came back and got in the dress and again she was pushing me! I explained to her that Iâm not a veil kind of girl; I was just there to get shoes and a dress. She then gathered every single veil in the store and stuck them on my head. I still said no. Then she proceeded to get her manager to come and lecture me on how âevery bride needs a veilâ. After she realized I wasnât going to change my mind, she closed the sale. I was so happy to get out of there! Once I got home I was looking at the receipt and was upset because she charged us for a garment bag after I told her I already had one! For future women, if you choose this locationâ¦ask for Stephanie or donât go at all!
I was warned of pushy sales clerks before going to David's Bridal but I had written down style numbers from online site. I went in found what I was looking for and waited for my sales lady to help me out in dressing. She was awesome!!!! Her name is Alice and I suggest you ask for her. She was quick and attentive. I was very vocal about being on a strict budget and she took care of me. Just do you home work about your body type and what styles would look best on you and be opened minded for other options. The dress I knew would be best was and cheap! $299!!! on sale. They of course want you to buy more expensive which I did try on dress around $650 but did not like. But at no means was she pushy for me to buy something more expensive. So don't have the bridezilla mind frame when going and you will have a better experience.
