Used to go to this bar when it was known as Tanya's which at the time was a combo restaurant/bar. Was a nice comfortable place to have a few drinks then. Now it's the local gay bar on Friday's and Saturday's, with a mix of cowboy wannabe's on all nights. Very slow on weeknights. Primarily a younger crowd. Like the other person said already, on Fridays and especially Saturday's don't be surprised to see a fight or two, even between girls. lol Too many people that don't know how to handle their liquor for my taste. The place is known as the "nursery" to people that go to other bars in the area. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
Less than impressed: Hardly qualifies as a Sports Bar, unless your kind of sports include WWF, hunting shows and NASCAR. The Mavericks or Rangers could be in the playoffs and you wouldn't know it by what the TV's are tuned into. Drinks are moderately priced, bartenders are fair. Too many fights and as much as anything, someone needs to explain to the DJ that he doesn't need to turn the volume up past the full mark. I guess he assumes louder is better, but I know more than just a couple of people that no longer go there because of it, myself included. IMHO, even the more lame bars in Ft. Worth and elsewhere are better than this.
A Great Place For Get Togethers: It's not just a Sports Bar
They treat you like family
