HORRIBLE ! Red Robin operates all over the country and is typically very clean and efficient, but the location here in McAllen has fallen off the deep end. The service is horrible, its filthy. Tables are never bussed, waiters arent trained, aware and dont care. The corporate office needs to close this roach motel. Its been 2 years since they entered this market and nothing has changed. Its as horrible an experience today as it was 2 years ago.
Have eaten here a few times, had no bad experience. Always good and will come back again.
I love Red Robin.. BUT NOT THIS LOCATION. I ordered the rice bowl and had taken a few bites when I noticed a sticker in my food. What!? A sticker!? Seriously!? The manager came and apologized, gave us some free fries while they made a new rice bowl for me, and didn't charge for it... this is the sort of thing that businesses get sued for! How in the WORLD does a sticker wind up mixed in with cooked food!? Just mind blowing. I will not go back to this location. Who knows what I will find in my food next time.

That does suck, and some cook really screwed up somehow. I do think that they could have been a LOT less discourteous to you though. The fact that the manager personally apologized to you, gave you the additional fries and prepared a new rice bowl for you... it could have been much worse. And a sticker isn't really that bad when you think about it. I don't see how it could cause any detriment to your health. If an earring fell into your food, you swallowed it, and it stabbed you in the back of the throat on the way down (I watched it happen...) Well, that would be a definite lawsuit there. Again, it could have been worse.
