User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy husband eats there at least 3 times a week for lunch and loves the food. He has tried about every mexican resturant in the metroplex and by far this is one of the best. When our friends and family come to visit we they always want to eat at Guadelupe's. There is a wide variety of choices on the menu. This isn't the same old standard choices found at the chain resturants. There is so many different things to choose from, we love the soup bar, and the different types of queso. This a great family resturant, excellent service.

GREAT FOOD!: We live in Carrollton and make the drive at least once a month. My sons can eat their weight in their queso, and I love the salsa and huge selection on the menu. I have yet to have anything that wasn't just excellent!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest in Metroplex!: The chef (and owner) was an exec. chef in a major hotel in the Dallas area, and originally from Monterrey - doesn't get much better than that! Food is great,and every meal comes with complimentary soup bar - all made fresh! Salsa is fresh, homemade and best around - I even buy a cup full to take home! If you're in the DFW airport/Grapevine Mills/Gaylord Texan area - you can't beat this place for the money. Ambiance is good, adequate for a family run business - not the commercialized hype. The fajitas are to die for, and don't pass up the 'Mexican spaghetti' side dish!! No I'm not family, just a very big fan of good Mexican food! The "Friday Special" is whatever sounded good to the chef on the 'store-run'. May or may not be Mexican (usually not) - but awesome just the same! I hear they have some of the best Chicken Fried Steak around - haven't tried it, as it's not on the menu, and haven't hit the right 'special' night yet - but want to!
